What to expect?
This eight-day itinerary connects Norway’s fjord landscapes with three Scandinavian cities: Bergen, Oslo and Stockholm. The journey begins in Bergen, Norway’s historic west coast harbour city. During your stay you explore the surrounding fjords on the Mostraumen cruise and ride the Fløibanen funicular to Mount Fløyen for views across the city and surrounding mountains.
From Bergen the journey continues with the famous Norway in a Nutshell route to Oslo. This scenic travel experience combines train travel across mountain landscapes, a fjord cruise through the narrow Nærøyfjord and a ride on the Flåm Railway before continuing across Norway’s mountain plateau to the capital.
In Oslo you discover the Norwegian capital from the water during a fjord sightseeing cruise before continuing your journey into Sweden.
The route then travels south-east to Gothenburg, a coastal city known for its canals and maritime heritage, before continuing by train to Stockholm.
Stockholm, built across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea, offers a mix of historic districts and modern Nordic culture. A guided tour introduces Gamla Stan and the Vasa Museum, home to the preserved 17th-century warship.
The journey concludes in Stockholm after exploring three Nordic cities and some of Norway’s most iconic fjord landscapes.
