What to expect?
This nine-day journey connects Norway’s dramatic fjords, coastal towns, and vibrant cities. Your trip begins in Bergen, the historic gateway to the fjords. After arrival, settle into your centrally located hotel and explore the harbour area, Bryggen’s UNESCO-listed wooden buildings, and the lively fish market.
On Day 2 you experience one of Norway’s most famous travel routes. Travel by train from Bergen to Voss, continue by bus to Gudvangen, then cruise through the narrow Nærøyfjord. Surrounded by steep mountains and waterfalls, this UNESCO-listed fjord offers some of Norway’s most dramatic scenery. In Flåm, board the legendary Flåm Railway, one of the steepest standard-gauge railways in the world, before returning to Bergen via Myrdal.
The journey continues south along the coast. A relaxed cruise connects Bergen with Stavanger, a lively harbour city known for its maritime history and colourful old town.
From Stavanger, sail into the spectacular Lysefjord. Towering cliffs rise straight from the water, and the famous Preikestolen plateau stands 604 metres above the fjord. The quiet electric catamaran offers panoramic views and a comfortable way to experience this iconic landscape.
Next, travel by train to Kristiansand on Norway’s southern coast. Here the pace slows. Paddle along the calm Otra River on a guided kayak tour and explore the town’s small harbour, beaches, and wooden houses in Posebyen.
Your final destination is Oslo. Norway’s capital blends modern architecture, maritime history, and easy access to nature. Cruise the Oslofjord on an electric sightseeing boat and enjoy views of forested islands and traditional seaside cabins.
The journey ends in Oslo after nine days of fjords, coastal landscapes, rail journeys, and Nordic city life.
