Hike starts at 11:00 and tour is adapted to the participator's wishes and conditions. With magnificent views we take a lunch break with panorama view of the North Sea, the Rosendal Alps and the Folgefonna National Park. Glacier guide will convey details about the culture, physical geography, climate etc. In the afternoon light, we return back to Folgefonna Glacier Centre with the fjord and mountains below us.
The trip is about 3-4 km in total walking distance, and about 250 meters height difference.
The hike starts 11:00/12:00 from Guide Shop in Folgefonna Glacier Centre, 19 km away from the village Jondal. We use some time to get glacier equipment and safety instructions before we set out on the glacier. Total length is 3-4 hours, means we are back at Folgefonna Glacier Center between 14:00 and 15:00 in the afternoon.
