Special Highlight: Fish Ladders play a pivotal role in the Norwegian ecosystem. These structures enable fish to overcome barriers like waterfalls and access larger upstream areas, vital for breeding and feeding. Fish Ladders enhance biodiversity and productivity. They're especially vital in the current scenario, given the endangered status of many salmon and freshwater fish stocks in Norway.
Children aged 12 or below must be accompanied by an adult in the canoe. Those under 18 need a signed waiver form by a guardian. All participants must be able to swim. Weight limit: 120kg. Please do notify us of any medical conditions like asthma or epilepsy in advance.
