Overview
This is a combination of our two most spectacular Trolltunga tours! They merge into an awe-inspiring hike that you will never forget. Climb up the steep face of the mountain, the air swirling around and beneath you as you gain height. At the summit, we find the arctic dome waiting for us. From here, we continue to Trolltunga. Dinner is prepared in the dome. We enjoy our evening as the sun sets and paint the sky.

Overnight stay in an Arctic dome
Dinner in the evening and breakfast the morning after with "a taste of Norway"

What to expect?
Your adventure begins at the P2 parking lot in Skjeggedal. Once preparations are complete, we embark on a one-hour stroll alongside a picturesque lake. A challenging but rewarding 1 km steep trail leads us to the commencement of the Via Ferrata.
Here, we pause for a breather, refresh ourselves, and review safety protocols.
As we ascend, the vistas become increasingly breathtaking, revealing the azure lake, the Ringedalen valley, and the distant Folgefonna Glacier. After about two hours of climbing and a brief hike, we reach the arctic domes. Here, we savor a hot or cold beverage before tackling the final leg of our journey to Trolltunga. By the time we arrive, most visitors are already descending, allowing us to relish the unique viewpoint in relative tranquility.
Despite the seemingly endless Norwegian summer days, we eventually retreat to the dome for a scrumptious dinner. The evening is yours to enjoy - engage in lively discussions, partake in games, delve into Norwegian tales, or simply admire the hues of the twilight sky.
Following a restful night in the dome, you awaken to a fresh morning. You have the option to revisit Trolltunga while your guide prepares breakfast in the tent, or you can choose to sleep in and awaken to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. After a leisurely breakfast, we pack up and retrace our steps along the tourist trail back to civilization. We typically return to the starting point between 2 pm and 3 pm on the second day.
Practical information
Sleeping bags are available in the domes, and you will receive a sleep liner before the hike. While we provide an outdoor toilet, shower facilities are not available
We have three domes, and they fit 5 people each, in total 15 people maximum
A packing list and all necessary adventure information will be provided in your booking confirmation
The Trolltunga hike itself requires participants to be in good physical condition. It is not suitable for those with troublesome knees. Please inform us of medical conditions like asthma, epilepsy, etc.
We encourage you to join the information meeting at Trolltunga Hotel in Odda, held daily at 21:00hrs / 9:00pm. Here, the guides inform about the hike, equipment needed, the weather forecast, and more.
