Bergen: Zipline at Ulriken

This zipline adventure takes place on Mt. Ulriken and offers breathtaking views combined with an adrenaline rush. It's not physically demanding but poses a mental challenge, providing a great sense of achievement when you reach the end. The zipline starts under the terrace in front of the restaurant on Mt. Ulriken and glides 300 meters toward Mt. Fløyen. Instructors are stationed at both ends to ensure a safe and enjoyable flight.

Practical Information

• Meeting Point: Meet at the zipline at your designated time. Arrive at the top of Mt. Ulriken before your booked time. About 15 people can book the zipline per hour, so there may be some waiting.

• Late Arrivals: We will try to accommodate you on the next available slot.

• Transportation: Consider taking a bus from the city center 1-2 hours before your booking to account for possible queues at the Ulriken cable car. This also gives you time to enjoy the views from the top.

• After the Ride: Walk back to the starting point on mountain paths.

Important Information

• Age and Weight Limit: 8 years and up to 100 kg (220 lbs).

• Health Considerations: Those with back or neck problems should be cautious of the impact from the automatic brake. Not recommended for pregnant individuals.

• Substance Use: Alcohol and other drugs are not allowed before or during the zipline.

• Equipment Provided: Helmet, climbing harness, and pulley.

• Return Hike: You will need to walk back on mountain paths.

• Not included: Cable car and bus

Climate and Safety

The zipline is 600 meters above sea level, where the climate can be significantly different from the city center. Expect stronger winds, lower temperatures, and higher humidity. Dress appropriately with a rain/windproof jacket and hiking shoes.
