The Evening Tour
Our kayak dock is located right in the heart of the city, just 400 m from our Adventure Café, so we start our kayaking tour in a prime location! All our kayak equipment is brand new and top of the range!
All our kayak guides are local, qualified and experienced, so they take time to run through some basic paddling techniques and safety information with you before you set off on your adventure. Our kayaking tours have an easy tempo to suit all abilities; many persons who paddle with us have no previous experience, and the techniques are easy to learn.
Enjoy a leisurely sightseeing paddle that allows you a fabulous vantage point as you look in on the city from your kayak. Feel the pulse of the city from a very different perspective! Throughout the tour, your guide regales you with stories and offers insights into local customs, history, culture, and lifestyle.
Our evening tour is 4 hours and includes a traditional Swedish midsummer meal picnic which you will enjoy in a scenic spot overlooking the city. This option is perfect to paddle in slow tempo while watching the sunset from a different perspective.
Our traditional Swedish midsummer meal is included on the Evening City Kayak Tour and consists of three different herrings, freshly boiled potatoes, meatballs, sausages, boiled eggs with Kalles Kaviar and hard crispy bread with Västerbotten Cheese. We enjoy fresh berries for dessert and have lingonberry and elderflower soft drinks.
On a Private setting we can offer the Tour both in the evening or midday, having the traditional Swedish midsummer meal as either a lunch or dinner.
We provide new Prijon Double Kayaks, TNP Wolferine Light Paddles, Hiko Life Vests and Spray Deck.
We own and use all the latest and best equipment on the market!
You should be able to swim to join the tour.
Guests are expected to paddle in double kayaks unless the guide decides otherwise.
The tour will take place in all weathers unless the guide believes it to be unsafe. Please dress appropriately.
