Muonio: Lapland Hotel Pallas

This magnificent hotel the first fell hotel in Finland, was designed by architects Väino Vähäkallio and Aulis Hämäläinen in the functionalist style already in 1938. Steeped in tradition, this hotels was finally built after de Second World War.

The establishment sits inside Palla's third biggest Park in the herat of Lapland. The property is surrounded by a winter wonderland of forest and fields. The hotel is warm and cozy inside, has rooms of several standards including hostel rooms.

The sauna is located on the shore of the pond Vatikuru, the perfect place to take a hot bad before diving into an ice hole.
