We may fill our baskets with Finnish superfoods such as blueberries, and lingonberries and, with some extra luck, we may even find some sweet wild strawberries. These superfoods are rich in vitamins and nutrients and sweeter than any berry you could buy from the stores!We consider Liesjärvi a hidden gem of Southern Finland. It is only 100 km from the city and not often visited by international travellers, so we can collect the berries at our own pace.This area is a breathtaking landscape carved by glaciers and shrouded by old-growth forests providing a magical setting to spend the day foraging.
