What to expect?
Arctic SnowHotel is one of the biggest in the Nordic region - this handsome building is built annually and is open from December until March.With an entrance ticket, you can access the hotel and see inside the hotel, where you can find 30 hotel rooms, an Ice chapel, an Ice restaurant, and an Ice bar, all made of snow and ice. All the other services are for an additional fee. The temperature is between 0 and -5C degrees at all times so remember to dress warmly! We are open from 10:00-19:00, but you can also stay longer in the evening if you book other services.
The area is excellent for spotting the northern lights in the evening! Our hotel area has three restaurants where you can grab bite to eat during your visit. Lunch is served at Kota restaurant from 12:00-15:00 (no need to make reservations). Dinner is served daily at Ice restaurant at 17:30, 19:00, and 20:30 and Kota restaurant at 19:00 and 21:00. Our Log restaurant is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 18:00-21:00. If you wish to come for a dinner, please contact us to book before-hand and secure your seat in the restaurant. The only snow sauna in the world can be found from our hotel premises. With our arctic sauna experience, you can enjoy the traditional Finnish sauna, snow sauna, and outdoor jacuzzi - all in private use for your family for 1,5 hrs. Saunas are open daily from 10:00-00:00.We offer accommodation in Arctic SnowHotel and in the glass igloos located just next to the hotel - please contact us to book your overnight experience.
