Join us for our Snowmobile Safari - King of Ylläs, where we’ll drive all the way up to Ylläs fell. Take in the amazing, breathtaking Lappish scenery as you stand on top of the highest mountain.

What to expect?
At the top, you can see neighbouring fells and all the way to Sweden. While viewing the sceneries, we will have a break at the top cafe for a hot drink and a doughnut. The journey continues before heading back to the village Ylläsjärvi through the snow-covered forest.If the weather or snow conditions are not safe, the tour will take you through another track, driving in the forest and on the frozen marsh.
Please note:
- The minimum number of participants required for each safari is 2 full-paying adults.
- Each person driving a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license (B). Please remember to take your driver's license with you. Note, not suitable for children under 13 years old.
- Two persons per snowmobile. For groups of 3 persons or any other odd number of people, we highly recommend purchasing one single-driver supplement.
- The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle. Personal self-liability is max. €900/person/snowmobile/case of an accident. By purchasing a €15 self-liability insurance before the start of the safari, you reduce the amount of self-liability down to max.€150/person/snowmobile/case of an accident. Self-liability insurance is personal and valid for one snowmobile safari.
- Transfers from/to holiday accommodations located in Ylläs area are included within max. 15 km distance from the safari house based in Ylläsjärvi.
- Winter clothing includes thermal overall, winter boots, woollen socks, woollen scarf, beanie, and gloves.
- The meeting time for our safaris is always before the start of the safari. You will be informed when and where to meet upon confirmation. The safari starts when the group is clothed and ready to go. Missing the meet-up will result in missing the safari, which will not be refunded.
