What to expect?
After the relaxing reindeer ride, sit down in a warm Lappish tepee to drink coffee or tea and listen to stories about reindeer herding by a man who has spent his whole life with reindeer.This is a wonderful day to be spent with family and friends.
After the information and pictures, we head back to Ylläsjärvi by bus.
Please note:
- Operated in Ylläs during the winter season February-March. (weather permitting).
- The minimum number of participants required for each safari is 2 full-paying adults.
- Transfers from/to holiday accommodations located in Ylläs area are included within a max. 15 km distance from the safari house based in Ylläsjärvi.
- Winter clothing includes thermal overall, winter boots, woollen socks, woollen scarf, beanie, and gloves.
- The meeting time for our safaris is always before the start of the safari. You will be informed when and where to meet upon confirmation. The safari starts when the group is clothed and ready to go. Missing the meet-up will result in missing the safari, which will not be refunded.
