Your journey starts at the Oslo Visitor Centre situated at Jernbanetorget in the heart of the city. We set out via the Røa Line, heading to the picturesque area of Røa. From there, we venture downwards to the banks of the Lysaker river, following a captivating trail that showcases the best of Oslo's water features.
As we tread the riverbank's path, you'll be enchanted by the allure of cascading waterfalls, turbulent rapids, verdant foliage, and the harmonious chirping of birds. Navigating over bridges and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere, our journey culminates at Jar station. From there, a quick metro ride brings us full circle, returning to our starting point at Jernbanetorget.
This excursion lets you experience the beauty of Norway without straying too far from the urban center. Including transportation, the entire trip will last about 2.5 to 3 hours, with walking spanning 1.5 to 2 hours. The walking distance is 4 kilometers.
