Vestfjorden is famous for its cod fishery, which dates back to early medieval times. On a clear day, it's possible to see the entire Lofoten archipelago known as 'the wall' of mountains sticking straight out from the open sea. Cruise through nature reserves and uninhabited islands with sandy beaches, dolphins, and a range of bird species such as puffins, cormorants, white-tailed eagles, eider ducks, grey geese, common gulls and Arctic terns.

What to expect?
This eight-hour tour offers a full day of spectacular fjord cruising and fishing above the Arctic Circle in the Lofoten Islands. Discover the beauty of the islands and fjords, many accessible only by boat. The route is weather-dependent, as your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Examples of areas you might pass by include Vestfjorden, Austnesfjord, Øyhellenesundet, Raftsundet, Trollfjord, Molldøra, Svellingsflaket, Øksfjord, Henningsvær, and Gimsøysund.
Relax on the outer decks with pillows and blankets, try fishing, savor the fish you catch onboard, and enjoy the ocean scenery from the hot tub. Take a nap in the interior salon, indulge in local Norwegian cuisine such as a reindeer soup lunch and lefsa for an afternoon pastry, and enjoy your self-caught fish battered and pan-fried with lemon. If the wind is right, you can try sailing and learn about local sights. We provide all fishing equipment and instructions on its use. Common catches include cod, pollock, haddock, mackerel, and halibut.
