What to expect?
We offer a fundamental introduction to kayaking, allowing you to safely and confidently explore the water in our new, stable sea kayaks. As we venture deeper into Glomen, you’ll paddle near small waterfalls, steep mountains, and observe birdlife. Kayaking brings you up close to nature and the water.
Additionally, our paddling excursions provide a unique glimpse into Glomfjord’s industrial past. We’ll paddle toward the 1920 hydroelectric plant, which played a pivotal role in Hydro’s establishment in Glomfjord and was involved in the dramatic World War II sabotage mission known as ‘Operation Muskedunder.’
Throughout the year, we organize paddle courses that lead to approved wet card certification from the Norwegian Paddle Federation. These courses cover safe kayak handling, paddling techniques, and overall safety. If you’re interested, feel free to reach out to us for details on our Basic Course or Technology Course. Equipment rentals are available if you hold an NPF Wet Card
