What to expect?
Kayaking in Sognefjord offers an ideal way to explore Norway's largest fjord. Nestled at the foot of Jotunheimen's majestic mountains, and stretching over 200km and reaching depths of more than 1300m, Sognefjord stands as the world's second-longest fjord and one of Norway’s wildest and most iconic.
This excursion takes you on a 100km journey, combining driving and kayaking, through the remarkable mountains of Vikafjell to Framfjord, eventually leading us into the waters of Sognefjord itself.
En route, we'll witness stunning landscapes and visit the charming town of Vik to admire its remarkable medieval Stave Church.
Our adventure diversifies with a special sea kayaking detour into the serene Arnafjord, an undisturbed haven far from large vessels and tourist throngs. In this quiet fjord, devoid of boat engine noise, you can appreciate the quaint settlements, prime fishing areas, and sunlit, inviting bays for swimming that Arnafjord is renowned for. The breathtaking sights of towering peaks, cascading valleys, and pristine waters will captivate you.
We are thrilled to share that Sognefjorden is on the path to certification as a sustainable destination. We take pride in offering you this remarkable, eco-friendly tour in such a prestigious location.
